Andiamo Restaurant Group, which operates nine restaurants throughout metro Detroit and one location in Las Vegas, has earned the Food & Beverage Concept Award from Airport Revenue News for its location at Detroit’s Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.
ARN award finalists are voted on by hundreds of airport industry professionals to determine winners. The establishment competed against five national finalists to rise to the top.
“We are very honored to receive this recognition and to be considered the best choice among so many varied and high-quality options facing travelers today,” says Joe Vicari, owner of Andiamo Restaurant Group, based in Warren. He says Andiamo offers an upscale, authentic Italian dining experience with menu offerings that raise the expectation of today’s travelers.
That sentiment was echoed by Ramon Lo, publisher of Airport Revenue News.

The Detroit Airport location was opened in June 2015 by Midfield Concession Enterprises Inc. Besides Detroit, the food and beverage service operator has 45+ restaurants located in nine airports across the country.
